Hysitron PI 95 In-Situ TEM Picoindenter

The Hysitron (now Bruker) PI 95 In-Situ TEM Picoindenter is for quantitative, direct-observation, nanomechanical testing inside TEM. With this instrument it is possible to test small samples and structures down to sub-100 nanometer size. It enables imaging the mechanical response of nanoscale materials and acquiring quantitative mechanical data simultaneously. It synchronizes transient events on the load-displacement curve and the imaged events through the in-situ recorded TEM video. Within the MRL TEM systems, this accessory is only compatible with our JEOL 2010 LaB6 TEM.
