The ID7000 has 5 lasers (355, 405, 488, 561, 637 nm) and 146 detectors enabling researchers to perform experiments using 40 colors or more. The system also has advanced autofluorescence separation with up to 5 individual signatures; plate loader (96 and 384 well plate)/tube rack with capability to automatically load up to 24 tubes; automated hands-off operation with the ability to mix, switch and record samples, as well as shut down and power off at the end of the run. Also, Sony provides free software to the users.
