Spectrometer Nickname: AVB500 (not to be used in publications) Location: CRL 00.086 (basement NMR lab) Spectrometer, probe and software specifications: Bruker AVIII HD 500 MHz spectrometer, 2-channel instrument running TopSpin 3, equipped with a 5 mm z-gradient broadband 1H/19FâX multinuclear (BBFO) SMART probe. Variable temperature capabilities: BCU-I temperature regulation unit, with liquid nitrogen heat exchanger or evaporator for low-temperature work. Temperature range is approximately 193 - 373 K, depending on the set-up. Sample changer: 16-position SampleExpress Lite robotic sample changer (not pictured) Access level: It operates as a bookable instrument for 'hands on' organic trained users and NMR facility staff under automation and/or manual control. Experiments: Routine 1H and 13C based 1D and 2D experiments as well as (but not limited to) 19F, 31P, 11B, 27Na, 29Si and diffusion-based experiments.
