Agilent Seahorse XFe96 Extracellular Flux Analyzer

The Agilent XFe96 Extracellular Flux Analyzer from Seahorse Bioscience measures the rate of change of currently dissolved oxygen and pH in the media immediately surrounding living cells cultured in a microplate. It is designed for cell metabolism, drug and regulator studies. More specifically, it measures the Oxygen Consumption Rate (OCR) and (Extracellular Acidification Rate (ECAR) of live cells in a 96-well plate format. These rates are key indicators of mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis and provide a systems-level view of cellular metabolic function in cultured cells and ex vivo samples.
